COURSE DESCRIPTION

A supply chain is made up of all parties who are directly or indirectly involved in fulfilling a client request. Not only does the supply chain involve the manufacturer and suppliers, but also transporters, warehouses, retailers, and even customers. The supply chain encompasses all functions involved in receiving and executing a customer request within each firm, such as a manufacturer. These functions include, but are not limited to, new product development, marketing, operations, distribution, finance, and customer service.
